Jabez Bacon’s Family History

Jabez was born in Middlefield, Connecticut, in 1731. He was one of nine children of Nathaniel Bacon. He was trained to be a tanner and currier, but recognized that middlemen were the people who made the money, so he went into trade. He married Lydia Hungerford from Bristol, Connecticut. They had nine children, all but one of whom lived to adulthood.

The children were:
Jabez jr., Jemima, Asahel, Lorena, Nathaniel, Lydia, Daniel, Mary, and Garry.

Here is a listing on Ancestry.com – I haven’t yet looked through it.
